DISC ONE:
1. Overture
A musical collage and introduction to some of the pieces contained on this dual CD.
2. Shadow Dancer
Lenore awakens in her bedroom to a leafless tree branch softly tapping on a
window. It casts an eerie shadow on the wall which has the appearance of a
human form. Shadow dancer begins his mesmerizing dance.
3. Silent Dance
When the shadow becomes still, Lenore begins her own light-hearted dance to encourage
further response. Upon finishing, she approaches the wall and touches her hand to Shadow dancers.
4. Silent Shadow
As their hands touch, Shadow dancer emerges from the wall and dances Lenore out into the moonlit night,
their melodies blending as one.
5. The Embrace
The seduction of Lenore begins as Shadow dancer promises jewels, feasts and an undying love if she will
follow him into his world of shadows.
6. Whispers Of The Wise
As the wise Ones come to warn Lenore of her danger, Shadow dancer retreats into the forest. Lenore
is so taken by his sweet words and promises that she doesn't want to hear or believe the Wise Ones and
bids them be gone.
7. Lenore's Rapture
In Lenore's ecstasy, she dances in rapturous joy, totally succumbing to her emotional and physical desires.
8. Hunters' Moon
In fear of the Wise Ones intercession, Shadow dancer entreats Lenore aggressively. She pulls away in
horror at the abrupt change and runs into the moonlit forest.
DISC TWO:
1. The Chase
Shadow dancer calls his Minions together to chase Lenore down. On the verge of exhaustion, Lenore stops
by a pool of water to rest but hearing the approaching Minions, begins to flee again. Lenore is driven unto death.
2. Minions Dance
As the Minions find her lifeless body, they begin a frenzied dance but are soon commanded back by Shadow
dancer. He lifts her soul from her body realizing he does, indeed, love her. To remind Shadow dancer of their
original purpose, the Minions begin their dance again.
3. The Dilemma
Knowing they are losing Lenore to Shadow dancer, the wise Ones come to plead with her once more. Shadow
dancer also pleads with her until they are in verbal conflict. Lenore firmly puts a stop to it.
4. The Release
Lenore struggles within herself, desiring the familiar of her physical form and the longing for what lies ahead.
She finds peace within herself and ascends.
